The Open House Shop opened
in the fall of 2008 in a small cottage house. The
exterior remains run down but full of character on
the inside. The business is owned by Robin Mullen-Park
who is assisted by Donna Martz and Bev Mumford. The
goal of the shop is to carry a variety of unique
and authentic primitives and collectibles with other home
furnishings at a reasonable price.
We love to decorate and
collect items and offer such as furniture, farm primitives, wood
bowls, pottery, retired Longaberger®, linens, baskets,
candles, stationary, quilts, toys, Hoosier Style
Cabinets, purses, dressers,
crocks, chairs, country
kitchen tables and solid wood furniture. Custom made
farm tables can be ordered and made to your
specifications (length, width, type of wood, etc). If
we don’t carry an item you need we will look for it as
we purchase items from private individuals and local
auctions several times a week.
We will be participating in the
Autumn Leaf Festival in Clarion in October 2009. We will
continue to offer selection of seasonal gifts and home items which are
original designs and crafted in our workshop. If you are
interested in receiving updates on these specialty
items.
Please complete this form and we will notify you
when new items become available through the winter
months. We may also send you specials and/coupons.
Robin is an Independent
Longaberger® Consultant who
is always available to tell you about
Longaberger® however the shop
offers only retired baskets, pottery and wrought iron.
Selected items such as purses, totes and other unique
items are also available in the shop and on the web site
listed on the contact page. Several
time a year bus trips to the
Longaberger® Homestead and
Boyds bear Longaberger®
Festival are planned and we can add you to our mailing
list if this is of an interested to you.
Hope to meet you,
Robin.
